    Printer help
    « on: March 08, 2009, 06:52:39 PM »
I have an ADMIN account and my Printer prints ok.
And I also have a Limited accout and my Printer want print from this account.

I go to File then Print and a Print Window comes up the Print Window.
So I hit Print and a Save As Window comes up.

And in File Type it has  XPS

Why is it not Printing and what is XPS?????

I did try to save it anyway just to see what would happen and it wont even save it.

OK I whent over everything and this is what is going on.

I have Firefox 3.0 Installed and it works ok on both my ADMIN Account and my Limited Account.

And my printer prints ok on Both Accounts from Desktop and things like that.

But when I am on the NET the only Account that will rint web sites is the ADMIN Account.

Do I have to Ad my Printer to the Firefox Browser??

      What OS have you got?

More realistically,  why have you got 2 accounts. If one accounts works when you print, why not use that one all the time??

If you Right Click on the Printer Diver in Controle Pannel you see an option that says
          Use Printer Online

What is this for if I have a Network??

Yes it wok ok I foundout what was going on I had my Printer Diver Installed and right next to i9t was a Driver Called Microsofts SPX  or that other Driver.

So I got rid of it and now everything works greate.

Now I just wanted to know for myself what the Option Called
            Print Online.
            and the one that says
            Print Off Line.

            What they ment???

I don't know exactly, but i would assume they are for connect your printer too a network (printer online) and disconnecting it from a network (printer offline).

              Have you tried them??
