Also, Not sure if you mentioned this, but is the drive able to read "stamped" CDs, such as commercial software CDs?

    Thanks to you BC_Programmer for your concern, and yes, the drive is perfectly able to read "stamped" CDs. It is simply not able to recognize a blank CD, be that of whichever make. I really don't know what to do? Hope that I'll be able to get through this with help from good guys such as yourself. Once again many thanks to you.
