what save-as options do you have in Picture-It? have you tried importing the picture-it files themselves into other apps?

Here are my Save As options

    JPEG File Interchange Format .jpg

    Portable Network Graphics .png

    Gif .gif

    Windows Bitmap .bmp

    Enhanced Metafile .emf

    Tagged Image File  .tif

    Targa .tga

I have never tried this Save As thing. How do i go about it?

hmm, strange- all of those except EMF appear to be bitmap formats.

You might have better luck with EMF (you'll be able to expand it no problem), but I'm not sure if you'll be able to move the text around.
I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

I tried converting the .png file to .emf and the inserting it into Publisher 2007.
It inserts allright but the text is not movable and quite smudgy

I am wondering if the best way to fix this problem isn't to try and get Picture It to work again. It seems as if it is the only software that supports the .png format.

      No, your misunderstanding.

the files, when you open them in picture-it- it is not getting all the information about the text layout and so forth from the PNG- PNG simply stores bitmap data. This is why you've been unable to "import" it into publisher.

      What about copy-pasting from Picture-it?

Yes, that does work but I have around 500 files that would all have to be change. Surly there is an easier way.

You may have to do this the hard way and copy paste each file that you wish to save.  I've done some looking and haven't been able to locate a mass converter.
