I have an Averatec 7100 series laptop. I was installing the Windows 7RC when I had an error, it couldn't read a file, so I figured I had a dirty disk or bad burn. I cancelled the installation while I made a new disc. The same thing happend.. couldn't read a file. I again cancelled the installation. I re-downloaded the iso file and made another disc. Here is the problem....
When I start my laptop it gets to the Averatec splash screen and stops. It won't boot from the disc and I can't get into the bios. I've taken out the memory, hd, and battery. Nothing is working any ideas on what I can try next?
