      Retail Version Of Game  :o

Would stop asking every one that has a problem with a game this question. Just because it is the retail version doesn't mean it won't have a problem and if they are using a cracked version it doesn't mean they will have a problem.

      Brett74,

Can you give us more details please?

Are there any error messages when this happens?

      Has this always happened?

What are the specs of your PC and do you meet the requirements to play?

Any other programs running while playing?

Does it happen at random times while playing or is only after a certain amount of time that this happens?
      You can't fix Stupid!!!

i'd reinstall the game.  if that doesnt work i'd make sure i had all the latest drivers for my hardware.  bf2 is too good a game not to get working properly!

Do you have a 64 bit OS? I sometimes had the same issues with this game on my vista 64 bit OS. If so, try putting compadability mode on.

i've tried reinstalling the game and it still does it. I have 1gb or ram and 1.8 gig processor running win xp.I get no error messages at all I've even looked at the sys logs to see if there were and there was none.I've also checked for viruses and none of them either same with malware. I just did a clean repair install on my computer but before that it was happenning alot and since then it happens about twice a week. I've also cleaned the dust out of my computer i do that about every 2 months. when it does happen it will happen about half way thru the game then usually I will restart the game and it runs perfect through the whole game the second time around. it does happen randomly and I do have just my firewall on and anit-virus running but that's it.
