  • Try re-booting.
    Windows wall paper.

    Home made machine.......I am unable to place the picture I want as the wallpaper on my machine. Keep getting this warning.......

    file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Hennessy/Application%20Data/Microsoft/Internet%20Explorer/Desktop.htt

    Tried everything stated on the screen to restore my desktop to no avail. Thanking you in advance, Hennessy.

    If it is an image from the web you have to save it to a folder location first then select it as a wallpaper using Windows Explorer to locate where you saved it to...
