overclocking? write video card?
« on: June 07, 2005, 11:25:54 AM »
I have an AMD Athlon 3200 2.2Mhz processer, and A salesman sugguested I use A  Nvidia 5500 250MB video card.  He said this model would'nt over clock my pocessor.   I was wondering if i can get A more powerfull card?   Or.

is the 5500 the biggest I can use with my processer?   could you please explain what over clocking is.
                                    thank you,

In answer to your first question NO. but i don't really know what this guy was on about so maybe he knows something i don't however your processer is perfectly good and shouldn't have any problem with most GFX cards on the market today
