Viewing Hidden Partition On acer laptop Using PTEDIT32 HELP

Ok let's start off:
I have this acer laptop, it is heavily infected with viruses and malware and such. CD rom doesn't work, task manager doesn't show(cntr alt del) can Now only boot into safemode, install shield fails, cannot install anything, cannot use system restore( i have restore points) can not access My computer, network, control panel, ect. through normal means.
I've come to the point (about 24 hours ago) that I just want to wipe the harddrive and start over. After Searching I found out how to fix several things, such as my touchpad, my sound, my cmd prompt, and the ALT f10 key.

My problem is this: When trying to restore to factory settings I need a password that I can't seem to remember for the life of me. To get that password I need to access the hidden partition. Without use of "Boot Cds".
I currently have PTEDIT, and set the 27 type partition to 07 Partition, afterwards I reboot into safemode and it changes back to 27, I've tried rebooting into Cmd prompt and then checking PTEDIT32 and it is still changed back to 27 preventing me from accessing the material.

If you've lost your connection, download the programs to a USB stick on a good PC and transfer them to your PC.
If you have difficulty, you may have to run them in safe mode, tap F8 at start, .
If you have difficulty, you may have to rename the programs when you save them.
If you get stuck on a step, proceed to the next .

Post the logs for step 3,4 and 6.

Can't do much without the logs.....
