WMP 10 Doesn't Add MP3's From Network Drive

Hi,

I have my MP3's stored on a network drive.  When I configure the library for this folder, it searches those folders, where MP3's reside, but doesn't recognize/add the files.  When I copy the folders and content to my local drive, all work as expected.  I'd appreciate insight on how to fix/resove this, as my preference is to store the data on my network drive.  I have deleted and re-installed WMP to no avail.  Also, my playlist at one point of the process from the network drive have been recognized, but no files are present.

why did you delete wmp 10......or have you!

I did not delete, but reinstalled it.  I thought that some of my settings might of got confussed, and wanted to do a fresh start.  Note, I tried this same experiment with another PC, using WM 9, and had the same result.
