Computer business being hacked?
« on: September 24, 2009, 10:19:20 AM »
My husband and I started a web-site business back in February of 2009. We paid a guy $500 to do the web-site. We have not received any phone calls or received any e-mails requesting our services. We think maybe the web designer might have hacked into our system and is re-routing people so that he gets our business. We have no proof, only that we haven't received any responses. We posted a complaint at ic3.gov last month and have not gotten any answers from them - they are supposed to give the info to the appropriate "officials" who are to then contact us, which they haven't. We want to get a patent for the idea that we have on this web-site, and thought we'd get at least a couple buyers, but nothing. The site is www.ashestoangels.biz. Who should we contact? Should we get a lawyer? What do we do? Please help!

Sorry to say, but your accusation sounds a little paranoid to me. On the other hand, you did manage to sneak in the url for your business ;)
