Outlook Express

I have Windows XP Media Center Edition 2002; my problem is in Outlook Express 6.  In received e-mail, when I click a highlighted link, computer hangs a few seconds, will not take me anywhere.  

Please help.

scans, all was fine.

Please suggest another avenue.

I've seen this before... Don't remember the solution though... I'll try...  ;)  Do you have a firewall installed? Is it in your options in Outlook Express somewhere that requires you to activate the links?
