    Bios Reflush software

    Hi guys,

    I have prblem with my HP compaq DX2300 and i want to reflush the bios but i cant find any software support the motherbord which is MS-7336. does anyone have it  ???

    What exactly to you mean by reflush the bios???

      re-flushing the bios is re-install the bios chip's firmware, i found many software can do this but not support my motherbord, i can't find the file or software neither on the MSI website

      You mean FLASH not FLUSH. Why on earth would you want to flash the bios with the same version? I've never heard of that.

        because there is a problem with the bios, " check sum bios error" and i feel i am stuck here so i want to reflash the bios.

        Is it a bios checksum error or a cmos checksum error? If the latter, unplug the system from AC power, open the case, remove the round silver battery for 20 or 30 seconds, replace the battery and the computer cover, plug it back in and restart.

          i've tried to remove the battry, i found the bios flash software but it didn't work. it seems the motherboard has alot of problems, i'll send it back to HP tomorrow to fix it or buy a newone.
