    Where is the host file in Windows XP x64?

    IS it in the same as the regular xp home edition. C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc?

      %systemroot%\system32\drivers\etc, even in XP x64. Are you having trouble finding it?

      have you configured your folder options to "show hidden files and folders", "display the contents of system folders" and not to "hide protected operating system files"?
