    Keyboard not working

    I have a Compaq V6000 laptop. The keyboard quit working. Not sure why.Touch pad works. Any suggestions on checking and resolving issue.

      You first need to try and isolate the problem. Try using a USB keyboard. If you plug a USB keyboard into the laptop and it works with out a problem you need a new keypad. If the USB still is problematic than you may need to do a repair install of windows.
