    « on: December 26, 2009, 08:31:27 AM »
    Hello There! :)

Iam the 'Most' frequent user of CCleaner  but have been left stumped with this latest scan of Onecare Live!(Refer to the screenshots, please). :-\

Temporary files have been found in abundance & a glimpse at the 2nd screenshot indicates that only a meager value got deleted/compressed?

    Please unveil this Mystery.....???

    There's nothing wrong with CCleaner...

CCleaner and Live One Care are 2 different products...

Live One Care has been abandoned by Microsoft and should be removed immediately.

      No..that's not correct! :P

Microsoft has just "discontinued" the Download version of this service but has not NOT abandoned the users who were  already enrolled for the Subscription based service!

I wish to basically ask about the methodology of detecting & cleaning the "Junk Files" used by both CCleaner & Microsoft's Onecare Live service? ::)

Come up with something substantial that can truly ascertain your  'Genius' (r u?) ???

If you want to argue the toss over the worlds best junk cleaner to a crappy bit of software by m$ then go a head.

CCleaner is a safe registry cleaner. So what if m$ listed 14 entrys. I could download a nother registry tool right now and it would tell me i got 400 more invalid entrys then waht ccleaner told me.

Thats not correct. In November 2008, M$ announced that Windows Live OneCare would be discontinued in June 2009 and will instead be offering Microsoft Security Essentials.

The subscription will only continue until the subscription expires

            Trust me...you've been abandoned.
Why anyone would insist on running a protection app that has been dis-continued is something i just can't comprehend.
