    Learning Programming or Being Programmed??
    « on: February 23, 2010, 02:19:30 AM »
The recent topics on the Programming board really hurt me. People just want their code working, don't care to learn something from it. They don't care what the error was, whether logical or syntax. They just want the code running. A person trying to learn functions doesn't know much about data types. Can these people yield anything useful? I believe that one shouldn't re-invent the wheel for just a minor issue, especially if they're just asking about their errors. These issues are addressed by just reading over the code once.

Just roughly wrote what came onto my mind looking at the Programming board. Would like to get more opinions on this.

How do you know what their motives are?   Which threads are you referring to?
