my surround sound does not work

Not sure how this would apply to me, exactly.  The only extended, unproductive argument I've gotten into in the forums (not off-topic) was with Geek-9pm, and in the end, one of my suggestions was what fixed the problem the user was having.   I'm generally very passive @ CH

chriscool was specifically referring to situations like this, that get out of control. And there is no doubting it was heading that way. It's not a single persons fault.

i think the problem is the sound card, you should check for new updates and visit the manufacturer's site for help and support. disable the onboard audio to see how it works. if it still not working you should try a diffrent sound card.

@Allan, you have a great forum. i was surprise to see that you got "Haitian Creole" listed in the language translator on your site. love it.
