Aloha!
« on: June 19, 2010, 07:32:13 AM »
Guess this place is a sort of "use 'em and lose 'em" spot, by the nature of it. But I'm sure appreciating your help and might even want to stick around and learn what you guys know how to do. I'm impressed.
So -
First Name? Frani

Do you have pets? Right now it's only a pet gecko, but I must house sit to get a definite kitty-fix regularly

How many hours a day do you spend on the computer? Too many - I've become a vampire. Guess that's about 10-15 hours a day, when I'm not obliged to drive around out and about.

How many computers do you own? One "new" one with win7, one older one that runs linux, another one that runs win 2000 and one that doesn't work.  A couple more old ones in storage...

What is your favorite color? The color you get when you mix a yellow with a teensy bit of black

What kind of music do you like? Music without words, mostly. Or music with words that I can't understand.
What are your goals? To have more relationships that aren't virtual or telephonal. To make up another job for myself or get paid for teaching Alexander Technique more often. ( A.T. is how to unlearn what you taught yourself to do by accident.)  To write faster, (probably learning easyscript) To make more art, (of my own.) To get paid for graphic recording at events - (it's a combo of a sort of mind-mapping and note-taking.) To play the array mbira more often.

Who are your heroes? Living? Mr. Natural & his Biz partner, (really, he's a real person) Barbara Sher, Edward de Bono, Elese Coit (someone I met on Twitter) & my new house mate

What kind of sports are you into? Floating in the sea looking at sea life, hiking at night, gossiping ;o) I don't watch TV
Do you have any piercings? Not even on my ears, and I'm female
Left hand or right handed? Mostly right, but I can juggle well enough to pass clubs and learn all new skills left-handed
Any tattoo's? Yeah, one I drew myself of a horse. Faded now, but I redraw on it regularly to turn it into other sorts of animals.
What is your favorite website? www.enjoysthin.gs.com or my own site: www.franis.org
Playing any computer or console games if so which ones? Mahjong, Spider solitaire, three decks (ducks) But I play them on my Linux box, at least...
Married? Don't believe in marriage, so far anyway /b]
Have kids? No, have lousy genes.
What languages do you speak? Well, English and enough Espanol to know what people are talking about, but not enough to know what they're saying about it. Would like to learn another, but not sure which one. Maybe sign language. /b]
How many keys are on your keyring? multiple key rings.  My house is an ancient cowboy bunkhouse that has 9 locking doors!
What is your favorite beverage? Chai tea, with almost as much milk in it as tea
What is your hair color? Reddish dark blonde - all 45 inches of it

Either name will do. My last name is pronounced "Angel". That name is so common and so often already someone else has taken it everywhere I go, so I came up with the variation which is usually available. Invented it since I write my "g"s like figure eights.

My first name is actually "Franis," but that is so often read as "Francis" that I just use "Frani" to make it not so tricky for people.

So that answer is - either one - whichever is easier for you to type.

What shall I call you, 2x3i5x?

Didn't realize I was starting a new thread with my intro by changing the subject heading...

...Mr. Complex Polynomial, you are obviously a proud devotee of the religion of Humblism.

 :-X

So, where are you guys all located? I'm on the Big Island of Hawaii... the northern end.

Just now I'm going to be taking a walk to look at the southern eclipse in about ten minutes, (since I'm awake at 1:30am.)
