    all u have to do is unscrew it and put a new one in.. right? but u also agree that a PCB board switch would make it work?

    Only if it's from an identical drive and the same manuf. batch lot #....

      so switching the PCB board would work? (just an off topic, how can u tell if its melted any component or anything.. where would u look)

      so the hard part is to get the identical piece.
