    Switcher qustions

    Hello i have brought new switch Sweex sw015.But i have three computers but my provider allows 2 mac addresses.So i attach the cable modem to the switch and i have now internet on two computers.Is there any solution to have internet on third,like setting the ip manually?

    you should get a router if you wanted to get share your one internet on three computers. but hopefully someone can get you on your way with your switcher

      Another option would be to install a second network card in one computer and enable internet connection sharing. Plug the internet connection into one network port and the other port into the switch, which the other computers will also be plugged into.
      Network cards are pretty cheap to buy and it's supposed to be pretty easy to set up internet connection sharing on Windows (I've never done it myself).
