WIN 7 DRIVERS LOCATION FOR LG LW70-P6X6GE2?

I AM PLANNING TO UPGRADE THE OS (WIN XP) OF MY LG LAPTOP (LW70–P6X6GE2, Model: LGW7), WITH WINDOWS 7 OS. COULD SOMEBODY PLEASE ADVICE AND/OR SUGGEST WHERE CAN I DOWNLOAD WINDOWS 7 DRIVERS FOR LG LW70-P6XGE2. PLEASE HELP, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

To the moderator: I am sorry if I offended you by posting this topic. I just want to ask help where can I get or download Win 7 drivers for my LG LW70 laptop. Maybe there are some other people who have tried to upgrade this similar laptop and they they know where these drivers can be obtained. I tried LG website but I cannot find any Win 7 drivers for the above laptop. Again I am very sorry. Thank you very much.

Go to Device Manager, double click on the driver that you need, and select the Details tab. On the scroll list, find and select the Hardware ID option. On the string that appears, hold CTRL and C to copy it. Next, open your browser and navigate to 'devid.info' and paste the Hardware ID into the box of the site that appears. This will list the most relevant driver. Download it, install it, done.

Laptop drivers should always be obtained from the website of the Laptop manufacturer. If you can't find the appropriate drivers there you should contact them directly and see what they say.

No...it shouldn't be used at all in the case of a laptop machine...

Laptop manufacturers customize drivers extensively to fit their specific hardware. More often than not drivers from the card manufacturers won't even work in the laptop(s), but even if they do that's not how the system(s) are designed.

I'm confused, if you do what I say, and make sure you copy the Hardware ID, you don't usually get more than one download.

Have you had good results using your method on laptop drivers?
Example:

HDAUDIO\FUNC_02&VEN_14F1&DEV_2BFA&SUBSYS_14F100C3&REV_0900\4&350F0B83&0&0102

That is from a 'unknown device' on a laptop. Where do you find a driver for taught? Or anything like it.
