     i have recently try ed to download a free version of Microsoft Access.
    When the file downloaded i lost it .
    i can t find it anywhere i have checked the download file but its not their.
    When i go to controll panel and go to add remove programmes its their does anyone know where it has gone  ???

    From where are you trying to download Access for free?

      i think it was one of them free trials

      Download it again, but this time right click on the download link and choose the location for the download yourself.

        i did that but when i try to open the file it says that it is not compatible with win32  ???

        Can you cite the exact URL for this download?  I don't believe Access 2010 can be downloaded separately from Microsoft Office?  So, where did you find a download source for a trial version of Access alone?

        Also, as far as I can tell, Office does not come in 32 bit and 64 bit versions. So, apparently, it's only available in 32 bit edition, which probably runs fine on a 64 bit Windows 0S.

          I'm not shore now :( i have lost the link but i know it was microsoft office access runtime.
          I'm not very good with installing programmes something allways goes wrong.
          I'm better at coding i guess.

          Well, if you want to download Office 2010 on a trial basis, go to http://www20.buyoffice.microsoft.com/usa/default.aspx?lc=1033  Of course, the product will work for a limited time unless you pay for it at the end of the trial period.

          If the database component of OpenOffice would suffice for your needs, it's free.  Get it at http://www.openoffice.org/

            I asked the IT manager today if he had a copy of it and he did  so problem solved.
