my son reformatted his pals computor and dosen't have a os diskette it won't read windows off the cd and he only has 1.4 mb diskette's which are to small what can he do to rectify his problem before his pals dad rectify's him

Download a bootable diskette from http://www.bootdisk.com.

You require a 1.44MB floppy.

Set the first boot device to A:.

Choose to boot with CD-ROM support

In DOS prompt:

Type D:

Type Setup

Change the bios setup>>>>>boot from cdrom!


More info mke/mdel of pc,would be helpful.....ok
