Unable to open MS Office Files
« on: October 05, 2010, 12:33:01 AM »
Have a computer running Vista Home, MS Office 2007.  All of a sudden, when I click to open a doc in excel, I get "The language of this installation pkg is not supported by your system".  When I click on OK, it says "Configuring Microsoft Office Shared MUI (English) 2007".  Progress bar almost completes, then I get "Unable to locate MSOINTL.dll." then it tells me to insert the disc and run setup again.

All files on my desktop with shortcuts to office products are inaccessible.  I had to delete and reinstall my Revo Uninstaller and Auslogics Disc defrag; the shortcuts were on the screen, but were grayed out.  Same with games on my desktop.

Have run several antivirus programs and malware removers, to no avail.  Help?
