It doesn't seem to be locking up as much, but sometimes still way too long, when clicking on an icon. You end up having to walk away.

You only about 9% free space on your harddrive. You need at least 15/% free space for the efficient operation of your computer. You will need to remove some programs/ files to get to that magic number. Go through All Programs and see which ones you can do without. Also, if you have a lot of pictures, movies, music and personal files, you could save them to DVD-+RW's to free up some space. You could also get an external harddrive and save your files there.
