    Well changing the battery didn't help. So the power supply is the one with all the wires and crap coming ou of it right? Where the main power cord plugs in? Well how would I chNge that? Buy a whole new one and reattach wires? Or is there something to take apart?

    Actually if you can it's best to borrow a known good one and swap it in there overnite....so you don't buy a new one for nothing...

      When plugging new wires in with a power supply if there are more than one o the same wire does it matter which one goes in each hole?

      the traditional method I've seen outlined in "fix it yourself" type manuals would be to use a piece of masking tape to mark each plug and where it went as you unplug it, and then make sure the plug you put in from the new supply is the same.

      Although for the most part, nowadays you'd have to try really hard to plug anything in wrong.

      I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.
