There are some great, easy-to-follow tutorials on HTML, java and more, and links to all kinds of design help & freebies, etc. They have a great weekly newsletter, too. It's written for the pro and newbie, alike. Should be something there that will help!

Also, invest in the HTML 4 For Dummies book - saves ya a lot of time.
One last thing: check your community college for an HTML class.
I'm still learning, but it sure helps to get a good start. It makes things in programs like Dreamweaver easier to understand why & how they need to be the way they do.
One word of advice: TYPE CAREFULLY (OK - that's 2 words!)
