Fan Auto-Shutdown
« on: August 15, 2005, 01:11:20 PM »
I was on the pre-boot setup screen and was checking my fan settings and switched to Auto Shutdown Computer when Fan Fails and now when I turn my computer on it immediately turns off.  My computer was working fine before I accidently switched this value.  I have no boot disk and am wondering what my options are?

Try:

Locate replacement fans. Open case. remove fans. replace with replacement fans. close case. turn on computer.

Fish.....Well , I would try the obvious..... go into the pre-boot setup screen and disable the auto shut down function.........   Now I guess the next logical question is ........... Are the fans working ok ?

If you don't know the answer, it isn't a dumb question.
