Hi

I am using Windows 7 with Microsoft Word 2010 home premium when trying to scan document to re edit I am using Microsoft Document Imaging and Scanning everything goes OK, until I convert to Word document to enable me to edit , then the document is in straight lines compressed against left side of document without any of the original Lay out, what am I missing or do I need more software, was able to scan and edit no problem with both XP  :||and Word 2003,. please can you help.

    Sounds like the Scanning program isn't converting what it's seeing correctly.  The driver for the scanner may be the problem....is it windows 7 compatible?  Might try to find out if their is an update on the scanners mfg website.  that is about all I can think of that would cause the problem your experiencing.
