all searches hijacked to "supersportsearch.com"
« on: April 24, 2011, 05:19:16 PM »
I have windows XP.  Whenever I try a google search, it redirects me almost immediately to a useless @#$! site called "supersportsearch.com" or some such.

I have gone into the task manager to try to eliminate this corruption of my system, but I can't figure out which "image name" to eliminate.

Any suggestions?

What protection softwares/brand (Antivirus, Malware, Spyware) are installed on your PC? You may try downloading Malwarebytes, Superantispyware and installing them, then updating latest definition, performing a full scan and see if that helps.

You could also use Ccleaner -> http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner
