My Laptop Battery will not charge

I have an HP Pavillon dv5 laptop running on Windows Vista Service Pack 2. The battery icon in the corner 0% Available (plugged in, charging) but it never charges. When I take out the power cord, the laptop turns off.

It means you need a new battery. Direct connecting your laptop without the battery on your AC adapter plug will confirm this.

Always use AC adapter is your only option without spending any money.
