need Movies not games

I am looking at buying several movies online ,but I would like the kind they can send me to download as I would rather they be on my pc not on dvd. Is there a place I can order them?

As for 'FREE' sites, I asked that question and never got a clear simple answer. The 'FREE' sites have some kind of thing you don't want to get into.

Thanks prodigy. I'm going to check those sites in a minute. I only saw on amazon that you could buy the dvd or vhs tape ,I'm looking for a download I can keep on my pc.
Oh yeah, those free sites dont have the movie I'm after..

It is possible to convert a DVD movie to a common video format such as AVI, MP4, RMVB, WMV, etc. with

I have personally tried both of the above programs. Some DVDs might have copy protection. If you want to convert a VHS tape to a common video format, you would probably need something like this:

and possibly some special software.
