    Post as much info. needed from type of computer(laptop/desktop), brand/model, specification. Current Operating system, Protection softwares installed. What changes made prior to the issue at hand? Describe what is system dead? Answer all this query and you will get more support from Computerhope members and experts.

       :'(I had the very same problem. It  could be one of two problems.

      The power supply could be defective or the mother board is defective.
