    Kingdoms of Amalur: http://www.gamers-lab.com/game/kingdoms-of-amalur-reckoning/pc-system-requirements-and-release-date/
    Intel C2D 2.2 GHz/Athlon X2 5000+ and HD 3650/GeForce 8800 GT. I would say PASS, because a HD 6670 is in between an 8800 GT and the low-end HD 3650.

    Mass Effect 3: http://www.joystiq.com/2012/01/19/mass-effect-3-pc-system-requirements-blasted-open-by-bioware/

Intel C2D E4300/AMD equivalent and Radeon X1800/GeForce 7900 GT. PASS.

    Battlefield 3: http://www.gamestop.com/pc/games/battlefield-3/90173

MINIMUM SPECS: C2D 2.4 GHz/Athlon (first generation) X2 2.7 GHz and HD 3870/GeForce 8800 GT. FAIL(on the graphics, your CPU is fine.)
RECOMMENDED SPECS: Quad Core CPU (Not precise, I'm assuming due to the game being a relatively modern one it would at least need a Core 2 Quad Q8200/Phenom II X4 965), and HD 6950/GeForce GTX 560 Ti. FAIL.

    Call of Duty MW3: http://www.game-debate.com/games/index.php?g_id=1400&game=modern%20warfare%203

Pentium Dual Core E6600/Phenom 8750 Triple Core and Radeon X1900/GeForce 8800 GS. PASS.

Your system is a mid-end system that will handle future games on low-mid resolutions-the C2D is an already outdated platform, and the Radeon HD 6670 is considered to be a fast entry-level card aimed towards the HTPC market.

You can go to www.canyourunit.com, pick a game from their list and have them scan your PC to see if you meet the requirements. If you don't meet the requirements of the game they will tell you why.

Most games are more GPU-intensive than CPU-intensive. It would help if you upgraded your GPU to something slightly more beefier, like the Radeon HD 5770 or the 6770.
You can't upgrade your Core 2 Duo to a Core i series-your C2D relies on the LGA 775 socket, and the fastest you can upgrade to is a Core 2 Extreme X9770.
http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Core2+Extreme+X9770+%40+3.20GHz Which is outrun by the i5-2400.
