Screen freezes

Hi There People

Has anybody had this problem before.

My screen freezes and whats on the screen just stays there,like it is in suspended animation or continual looping.

Ctrl Alt Del does not even show up.

Once the mouse un-freezes, I can not even click the cross to close the site.

I have done a full scan and no viruses or trojans etc

I have got this far without a freeze so I will get this posted before it happens

I am running XP Home

Hi There People

This problem now sorted 

It turns out it was my "Graphics Card"

NVidia GF400GS     

I am now looking for another card any suggestions.

I dont play games

I run XP

My board is a "ALIVE SATA2 - GLAN

It has PCI Express.
