Is this possible?
« on: June 21, 2012, 05:25:26 PM »
I hooked up my gaming pc with my Dads old psu from
2004 it's 450w I think but only 20pin when my Mobo has 24
Hole connector.

I hooked it up and it worked, there were 4 extra holes
But when I put my gpu in I got no display. On new gpu or onboard.
But when I took it out onboard works.
My dad looked at it and said that the pcie slots are dead.

He said he tried using a network adapter in pcie slot and it didn't detect.
He also tried some other things, he is a genius..

I ask y'all, is this possible that my pcie slots are dead just
Because my psu was ancient?
I'm scared my dads lying to me because he doesn't like me
Playing games
