Change laptop wifi card

Hi,

Can i simply use any wifi card in a laptop as long the slot fit?
Do i need to check for other compatibility?

No, unless you have specific details about compatibility. Laptops come in a wide variety of configurations. Please gee the make, model and OS of yours.

Or you might be able to use a USB wireless adapter.
