Computer slow, freezesup will not shut down normally

Hello, I have a dell Optiplex 745 running windows 7. It freezes after a while on some internet pages and will not complete a down load sometimes. It is slow and will not shut down normally after it has frozen. I tried to do the recommended steps for first time posters but it would not download very much of the software and would not complete a scan from Malware bytes. Spybot, Ad aware and AVG did not finish loading and some others would not even start. I'm using google chrome after IE quit altogether

When did this problem start?

Any recent changes to the computer? Hardware & software?

No recent changes it started 2-3 weeks ago and is continually getting worse

I would try performing a System Restore to about a week before all the troubles began.

If the PC wont finish any malware scans thats a sign of a serious infection...
