Recycle Bin missing??

I no longer have a Recycle Bin icon.  I just accidentally deleted a picture and would like to retrieve it from the Recycle Bin.  How can I find it?? I have Windows Vista.  Any help would be appreciated.  FYI, I already tried the Search on the Windows START button with no luck

Right click on the desktop, click Personalize, then Change desktop icons and tick the Recycle Bin.

Worked!!!!!  I got it back.  But, my pics aren't in there.  That's fine though - just glad I got the R-Bin back.  Thank you!!

You could try Recuva to get your pictures back, there's a chance it will be able to recover them although not by any means guaranteed.
