software removal problem
« on: March 24, 2004, 07:09:17 AM »
My computer locked up when I was installing a program. The program does not work. When I try to use the add/delete it will not delete it because it isn't fully loaded. When I try to re-install, it says that the program already exists. How do I get rid of this partially loaded program?

you could just go into 'c:/program files/name of company who makes the software/name of program' and delete the entire folder.
e.g. you might go to
C:\Program Files\Adobe
then inside abobe there would be a folder called acrobat reader, and you would delete this. (dont delete acrobat, its just an example)
