choppy sound when im djaying can anyone help

hi i'm a dj and also a computer tech too as well and i'm having problems with my computer or my dj program dj virtual 7 when i'm playing a song i get choppy sound i tried basically everything maybe there is something i'm missing can someone help me by either by remote or here

i have a hp laptop model zd7000 windows vista 2 gb  i'm a dj program call virtual dj 7 pro i went to thier site and tried trouble shooting still no help
