Using "Line in"....

Has anyone any suggestions on what to use the line in for that is on the back of the computer tower....

    Usually a microphone. Other audio devices can be plugged into this as well so that you can record audio from them as files.

    I use the 'line in' from my mixer, to a program called "Audiograbber", that catpures my music as an MP3.  It's a free download, and works pretty well.

    It's not as nice as some of the more hi-fi programs like ProTools, but it does work.   :)
