I would like to use this or an equivalent to enable Photo Viewer on my SIL's new PC. IMO, the new Win 10 Photos app is not very good. I upgraded from 7 so Photo Viewer was always available to me. Did not know MS took it away on new Win 10 installs until today. Thanks.

Apparently you can get Photo Viewer on a new Windows 10 install without any apps, by following the instructions on this page

    http://www.cnet.com/uk/how-to/how-to-get-windows-photo-viewer-back-in-windows-10/

However Winaero Tweaker is a convenient way to do the registry changes, and lots of other things too. It is up to version 0.5.0.4 now. I have been using it since version 0.3.1.1.

Best to get it from the offical web site:

Thanks. Discovered you can get Photo Gallery as part of Essentials suite. It works fine, especially compared to Photos.
