motherboard
« on: December 16, 2005, 09:25:43 AM »
my laptop started turning off if i touched the screen.  i came back from thanksgiving break and it would not turn on at all so i took it down to campus compiter services.  they said  that the motherboard was going and that i needed a new one.  if i had the screen flat it would not put pressure on it and i could still use it.  i decided not to get it fixed but to get a new computer instead, but today im wiggling the screen and nothing happens.  is my computer really dying or did it somehow fix itself?

All computers fail eventually. It is hard to predict when yours will go.

Sounds to me that somthing maybe loose inside. I would check out another pc shop, for another opinion telling them that you think there is somthing loose.
