I've written about 60 pages of text in Word 2002 (win xp, PC), somehow the numbering has gotten twisted.
When scrolling down using the slider in the right margin, Word lists the page number for navigating purposes in a floating window over the slider. About halfway thru the document, the page numbers start over at 1. How does one change this? I have a feeling it's leading to my other page problems.
Next, when inserting page numbers thru Insert/page number, How can I get it to start numbering on the third page instead of the first?
