Internet Explorer

When I click on IE desktop icon i get an hourglass and it doesnt open but I can open it from a shortcut

    Try removing the desktop icon then adding it back in via the advanced settings.
    IE>Tools>Internet Options>Advanced

    Scan for viruses and Spyware. When did it stop working? Have you made any changes to your system recently?

    I went into IE>Tools>Internet Options>Advanced and clicked restore default and it fixed the problem (without deleteing the icon)
