Problems with windows 98 SE
« on: March 11, 2006, 02:21:34 PM »
Hi, can anyone help with this?  It flashes up everytime i start the PC.  I have broadband installed, so all of the Firewall and virus check programs start first, then once everything has cleared from the screen ths message pops up!
Any help would be gratefully received.

Thanks

Lee

How about a little information like details about the machine, which version of Windows, what happened prior to this, other difficulties, etc?

Miss Cleo takes the weekend off.  ;)

If this just occurred wiotout any changers being made, if I were a betting man, I'd put money on this being a malware problem. I may be wrong but carry out the procedures listed in this post and post a Hijackthis logfile here when done.
