Stop Firefox alerts - can't find web page -
« on: March 16, 2006, 06:20:08 AM »
How can I stop Firefiox from popping up the  Alert - can't find webpage message.  It freezes everything until I click okay, and it beeps.  This does not happen on my other machines and I have tried to shut off things like alerter in services.msc.

Nothing so far has stoped it.

I need help!

Does it find the web page or is it simply doing what it's supposed to do?
More details are needed!
What antivirus/anti malware and firewalls are in place?
What's your method of connection?
