    My guild wants to make a web site is there such a thing as getting a free web site?

      And Invisionfree is good if you want to attach a forum to it. Helps you get used to things like phpbb for when you want to run a site off a proper server

      I have it, it allows me to control my website well, and gives me a great forum and many advantages.

      (if your looking for a free domain, that's harder. I don't think you can get those anymore)

            *smacks forehead on desk* I totally didn't forget that you could have you're computer be a server, but if ony I had high speed. :-[ stupid 19.2 kbps dial up connection

            Look into Verizon DSL for about $24.99 a month, comes with Virus Scan and Firewall.
