    Have you tried thios.... right click on the wallpaper on your desktop and select arrange icons by , then be sure that show desktop icons is ticked

      cant even do that nothing on page nothing works just task manager,it said search the internet for a program but when i click yes nothing happen

              Do you have a original winXP disk with SP2 or do you have the restore/install cds ?
              What brand of pc do you have ?

                got win zip and got origanal xp tried reloading didnt work dont have restore cd just the ones for modem and printer /aspire acer

                  hi thank you for helping me ,i finaly fixed the problem ,then forgot my password for windows lol,well re-installed windosxp that worked after 3 tries then forgot password then did reformat ,then stuffed the whole thing up by deleting windows set up file lol,well got a tech to restore everything now all good thank you for helping me  :)
